About Me
To give you a better understanding of who exactly is writing these reports, and this this webpage, I should let you know a little bit about me. My name is Aaron Richard Arndt, and I have been competing in inline racing since 1996. I have raced road and track regionally, nationally, and internationally throughout my career, and have various Canadian national titles and records. Since some tough injuries and time away from skating, I have been focusing more on my strongest and favourite discipline; the Pro Marathon Circuit (42km). Since this newfound focus, I have been racing for the Bont North America Pro inline team, and have success winning and placing in some of the largest races in North America. I now have my sights set on the World Inline Cup, and racing all over Europe (for more info on the WIC, please check out the official website in my links section below). I have also still been racing for Canada’s National team in various international competitions, in road, track, and marathon events, and plan on continuing to support Canada’s National team status, and progress, including the development of our younger skaters. I am heavily involved in coaching in all capacities at the club level, as well as group and private lessons. I would one day like to coach at the national team level, once my racing career is over. I have been coaching in Toronto, and running private and group lessons with Barry Publow for several years, and i enjoy teaching skating. I also enjoy training and racing on my road bike. I am also attending university in my final year for a degree in kinesiology, and exercise sciences.
