Last night: Relays. Today: Weinfelden. Tomorrow: Dijon.

The relays were last night, and were awesome.

I thought it was a really cool event, and really crowd friendly.  As far as a “show” goes, it was no ‘Beyonce’, but hey, they were trying.

My team had a rough going in the semis, and failed to advance out of some amazingly strong, fast, aggressive, dangerous, and exciting competition.  Wayne and Giovanni were going to start for sure, and as it was something of a toss up between myself, Jasper, and Dario, and we ended up going with Dario as our third.

Today is the Weinfelden marathon, and though it is dry and sunny out, I’ve heard that they are calling for rain this afternoon.  I don’t think it will though.  Tomorrow morning I leave for Dijon, France to race a tough marathon there.  I am driving with my Italian teammates, and looking forward to the drive… oh, and the race.

One really cool thing about last night was skating on the track with all those guys, and hanging out a bit in the infield.  It was a scene, man.  I really like the way Davide Romani skates.  His team, TNT Corea was surprisingly strong on the track.  It will be interesting to see them on the road this afternoon.

Busy, busy,
Double A.
