Florida

So…
I’ve been in south Florida the past week and a half training road and track, and just finished eating after finishing up the last (road) practice of the trip. It was nice to finish off the training with a bang. It was a bit of a skating reunion here. Tonight’s practice saw tonnes of really good skaters. I felt pretty damn good, too. It’s funny, after practice I was saying that I wondered what some of the sprints might have felt like if I was actually tired. On the other hand, sometimes the best practices are the ones were you feel good from start to finish. This one, I did. This week I tried more wheels than you would ever want to try, and I have some concrete results through my own testing. I am not a “gear face”. On that note, I wrote an article the other day that is simply fun. It is about some of the subtle and unknown skating terms you may or may not already know about. You can find it in my articles section, under the heading “skating slang” I think. I plan to link to some sources, and of course some good pics of each for example, so if you think you have a good pic that sums up any of the terms, feel free and please send them my way! If they are appropriate, I will include them in the article. Thanks!!
Anyway, enjoy the article. See everyone in TO soon.
Yours through skating,
Aaron Richard.
