First I want to thank all those who wrote, called, emailed…
Never once did I feel forgotten, alone, or unloved. I thank the concern and well-wishes from my friends and family for that.
For those that don’t already know, I suffered a broken leg (with a few somewhat complicated fractures) while in Switzerland in late June, and after some rather complicated surgical repairs which are on-going, I am stable, alive and as well as can be…
Saying goodbye to the remainder of the competitive season, my friends in Europe, and of course to Sandra was extremely difficult for me, but I am now back home in Brampton, Ontario, Canada for remaining surgeries, physio, and post-operative care.
I haven’t been online much since, so I am sorry for the lack of replies, but I trust that such comforting and supportive friends will understand my e-absence.
To all the skaters, enjoy the rest of your season!
And for now, enjoy Le Tour! [Edit: Olympics! Anyone taking bets on the road race?]
Aaron Richard Arndt.
